Are you called to Serve?

There are moments in our lives when we get the sense that Jesus is nearby, and he is looking at us with profound love. There are moments when we feel called to make decisions that will shape our lives. There are moments when we have a feeling that Jesus is very close, and he is whispering his ancient invitation to us today: “Follow me!” How will you follow him? Might he be calling you to service in the Church? Use the information here to understand better the different ways in which the Church can help you channel your gifts and talents for the service of others.

Major and Minor Orders

In the AOCC, we recognize that women and men are called to both major and minor orders in the church. Minor orders are those in which lay persons have been called to fulfill as non-ordained ministers in the church. Major orders are those in which persons have been called to fulfill as ordained persons (also referred to as the Gospel Ministry).

Individuals who feel led to a specific ministry in the AOCC should consult with his/her priest or local diocese.

 Incardination

For incardination information from another jurisdiction, please inquire at info@aoccw.org. Please note that the AOCC will not incardinate a bishop at the bishop level in this jurisdiction. He or she, if approved for incardination, must be willing to enter the AOCC in the role of a priest.
